When you visit this website

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels. Standard web server logs may record your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer, browser type, and technical request data. These logs are used solely for security, abuse prevention, and operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

When you purchase a Pro license

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy (the Merchant of Record). We receive a limited subset of purchase data: your email address, the product purchased, subscription status, and the license key issued. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Please review Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

When you activate a Pro license

When your WordPress site activates, validates, or deactivates a Pro license key, it sends a request to Lemon Squeezy's license API. This request includes the license key and your site URL or license instance ID. Lemon Squeezy returns license status, expiry date, activation limit, activation usage, product ID, and customer email/name so the plugin can enforce site limits and display license status. We do not collect personal data about your shop customers or site visitors through license validation.

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide, such as your name, email address, message content, license/order information, and technical context needed to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general support and security requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain purchase and license data for as long as your license is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, support, security, and legal purposes. Data that must be retained for statutory accounting or tax obligations is kept for the legally required period. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@wirecore.net.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@wirecore.net.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For WireCore GmbH, the competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg.
